Blå salme
Sangen, som ble utgitt på platen «Langt nord i livet» i 1994 har en dyp tekst som handler om livets opp-og nedturer. Melodien er laget av komponisten og organisten Henning Sommerro.
Dette arrangementet er laget til bruk med sangsolist og evt blandet kor i siste delen.

Erik Bye (1926-2004)
var en av Norges mest profilerte kunstnere i flere tiår etter krigen. Dikter, visesanger, programleder og samfunnsdebattant, i mage år tilknyttet NRK som medarbeider både i radio og TV.

Øyvind Strand (1956)
er en norsk musiker, komponist og dirigent. Han er oppvokst i Drangedal og bosatt i Skien. Strand har vært dirigent i Musikkforeningen Suoni siden 1980, har også vært dirigent for Gimsøy skolemusikk 1977-2023 og dirigert koret Canto Libre (siden 1995). Øyvind Strand har komponert flere marsjer som er blitt populære, blant andre Telemark Bataljon, Himmelstuperne, Ambassadør og Landlov.

Blå salme (Blue psalm)
The song, which was released on the album "Langt nord i livet" in 1994, has deep lyrics that are about the ups and downs of life. The melody was created by composer and organist Henning Sommerro. This arrangement is made for use with a vocal soloist and possibly a mixed choir in the last part.

Øyvind Strand (1956)
is a Norwegian musician, composer and conductor. He grew up in Drangedal and lives in Skien. Strand has been a conductor in the Suoni Musikkforening since 1980, has also been a conductor for Gimsøy School Band from 1977-2023 and has conducted the Canto Libre choir (since 1995). Øyvind Strand has composed several marches that have become popular including Telemark Bataljon, Himmelstuperne, Ambassadør and Landlov.
